112th Tank Division T-34
« on: May 20, 2022, 03:43:51 AM »
Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

The 112th Tank Division first saw action in late 1941 during the Battle of Moscow. It was employed a "fire brigade" unit, sent wherever it was needed to try to stop German advances. In 1942 it was awarded the Order of the Red Banner and later reclassified as the 112th Tank Brigade. It received the title "Revolutionary Mongolia" in winter 1943 after it was re-equipped with tanks funded by the Mongolian Republic. At the presentation ceremony each tank carried a dedication painted on its turret from a Mongolian province. This one read "From Arkanghai Province, Revolutionary Mongolia". The 112th fought at Kursk and then throughout the Soviet armies advance through Russia, Poland and Germany, including the Battle or Berlin.
