These boats are powered by a 468ci blown alky Chev motor. Most of the boats in this class, GP, are made about an hours drive from me in Brockville ON. They are good for 170mph.

My buddy Ken Sperry builds engines for Grand Prix boats.  He is the motor guy for Ken Brodie, GP 50.

Fastest I’ve ever been on water is the mid 70’s, it was in a scarab with a little over 500 ponies and that was too fast for me, can’t imagine doing a hundred never mind 200!   WOW.

My brother's tritoon will run 50. I have to admit, it looks funny when a tooner is cruising at 50.
