More moderator fun and folic

I mentioned that I wrote in Elmer Fudd for President last election because I could not stand Trump and would not vote Biden. And got warned, okay, fair enough. Other people did too, a political discussion was ongoing.

I then said on 200 "Mods necessary, but they seem awfully capricious."

Muted for two hours.

I was doing lone wolf thing, not interacting with ppl at all, so it didn't affect me. Made me laugh, actually.

My problem is with 99capera. He uses his mod privileges to mute dissent, and hypocritically chastises ppl for doing things like flying off map(as I do on occasion) while he does far worse (denying CVs to "teammates" while he is sleeping so he can use them when he wakes up). Next question?

Not to imply cap was the moderator in this instance, he wasn't. My issue in general is with the god-like powers mods feel HT has bestowed upon them.

capera  would never be a mod anymore than I would be.  it's hilarious your fascination with him.

The rule is you can NOT challenge the MODs. By this statement "Mods necessary, but they seem awfully capricious.", you did, its an instant mute for two hours. I doesnt matter who/which MOD was on, ITS THE FRICKIN RULE!

Accept the rules, abide by them and you wont have any issues.

The mods have never ever had to do anything to me. 
I never get testy with anyone or bring up touchy topics. It's very simple. I'm in the arena to do one thing and one thing only- DOGFIGHTING!
Simple fact is you said something that fell within the Moderators' Realm of Unnacceptable, and they gave a simple 2 hour mute (which, by the way, is a VERY mild punishment). I'm sure they have policies on what is and isn't appropriate, but they don't have to share those.
As others have mentioned, Dale chose these people as moderators for a reason, and their decisions are absolute, so quit griping and just enjoy the game please.
