A Rundown on JG5 and it's Groups.
In JG5 there are 4 wings meaning JG5 will be limited to a maximum of 16 active members.
The 16 is split into 4 separate wings of 4 members, with corresponding Squad name and emblem.
This is so JG5 is able to work well as a unit in any environment without having to saturate an area by numbers, but rather by sound tactics and squad cohesion.
Each wing employs the type of wing tactic which works best for them and their aircraft, matching similar types of flyers together aids these wings build camaraderie and to gel as a fighting force.

If I had better opportunity to participate happenings, I'd be more than happy to join, but time zones keep me out. Especially III.JG5 as it carries the flag of the country of my origing and was operating in Finnish Lapland during WW2. The boot in the emblem is traditional Lappish heinäkenkä, hay shoe. Soft boot made from reindeer skin and dried hay (or sedge) used as an insulator to keep it warm during harsh Lappish winters.
