Is the GTX 3060Ti any good for Aces high
« on: July 30, 2022, 05:54:12 PM »
Looking at a new rig, my current one needs a graphic card update and with having it for a long time I'm just gonna get a new rig. Is the GTX 3060Ti any good for running Aces high on max eye candy?

I have one currently. Seems to pull everything off without a problem 4k even. VR has some stuttering issues while facing towards terrain on CERTAIN maps.

Not a bad card all in all but I will be looking to upgrade in the somewhat near future

AH does not take much of a card to run at full on. Your more important question is if it runs VR. That would be the only thing in AH that might tax your card.

The question you should ask yourself is : What other games will I use the next few years ?
The other question is, will the next Monitor be of higher resolution or require high FPS for some games ?

I fly in IL2, and casually rumble in War Thunder Tanks.

The WT had little problems with my 1080 card @ 2k resolution, but IL-2 game was an unplayable slideshow.

After changing rig, everything run smooth
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.
