Sounds like you’re worried, maybe shut down California again.  You can also put a mask over pants.

And this is supposedly a nurse, folks. Dang. Now I posted and will be blamed for getting this wonderful thread shut down.  :)

In my country everyone born before 1975 are vaccinated against Smallpox, the vaccine they now deliver against this new infection to high risk persons.

So you start a thread with same title and topic as one that was just locked.
Words fail me to describe that but considering the source its predictable.

a responsible person might reframe from having unprotected sex and trading spit with other men until they receive a monkey pox vaccine.  Just saying, it's not transmitted any other way.

replace 1 men with a woman and it's transmitted another way.  while most infections are in gay men, just like aids it is not exclusive to gay man.

just like being in a monogamous relationship with your gf doesn't guarantee you won't get an std. she can just lie and have sex parties when you aren't around.

Is 7,500 cases over many months a national emergency?

Historically a novel virus with those counts and this much time passing wouldn’t get this much attention.

it's only 1 person, it will dissappear by spring like magic.

remember when we used to have a terrorist threat level and it was always elevated. I hope this emergency is just like that. otherwise it could turn into government cover it up.

Viruses that are contracted by contact don’t become airborne.  Contact with bodily fluids through droplet or aerosols with significant exposure can result in infection, absence of that, it’s rare.

It seems you’re comparing to Covid…

so a gay guy sneezing in front of you cannot infect you unless you put your tongue in his mouth. or perhaps a guy that just coughed in his hand then turns and shakes yours.

explain the kid who got infected.
