I recommend listening to classical music.
I listen to a classical music station that is broadcast from a college. I think it's UCLA. So there's no commercials.

I've been listening in the morning when I get ready for work and then on my drive to work and also when I'm driving around.

It's so much more peaceful and relaxing than listening to news or regular radio with commercials.

For a long time I have not watched television. I didn't even own a television for many years but I do have one now my bedroom and I'll watch when I go to bed sometimes.

But all of this news and arguing about everything gets so old. Even hearing about things that you can't do anything about, well for me that gets me nowhere. I would rather not even hear about it sometimes.

For me it's Classic Rewind on SiriusXM either in the car or here in work. I had enough of classical music while in school being forced to study it, a long time ago (50 years) in a Galaxy far far away.

I read recently that it is recommended to take time during the day to basically shut your mind off. Or meditate or relax.
I've always been pretty easy going, but I do get irritated with commercials and distractions.

Even as a kid I didn't like distractions when I was doing my homework or whatever. I like my alone time and I like peace and quiet.

So classical music for me is very relaxing. I don't turn it on very loud though because I really dislike those bombastic kinds of songs like marches or whatever they are. So I have to have it on like in the background.

love listening to classical music. grew up listening to it. find it funny how in some movies, they play tango, which I love but have them a touch of classical music.

I agree. That's why I don't listen to the news. I will still read and research the best I can but I'm not going to listen to some newscast. They all filter the exact same things and even use the same wording.

A good communist would listen to the state line that's fed to them, like a good citizen.
