We will get to Michigan when they play tOSU.

In the mean time,  it’s safe to say most people who watched that game, including non- Tennessee and non-Bama fans, were Tennessee fans that night.

Yep, OSU is the top opponent for Michigan.  They are looking great this year again.

I'm a Tennessee fan.  Was at a pub last night watching the game.  The place went wild. :)

Roll Tide, what?

Where's all them bandwagon people at this fine Sunday? All I see is orange on my Facebook feed. Also leapfrogged Michigan that spanked a well overrated Penn St. UGA and OSU have played no one.

Sadly, Tennessee will have to beat UGA to get in the playoffs, but Bama will cruise in if they win the west and championship. Oh well, still a pretty fun team to watch, regardless.

Also, Bama lost to Tennessee if you weren't aware.

And way to go, Wolverines.  41-17 vs. #10 Penn State.  Penn State's #5 run defense couldn't stop Michigan's run game.

Go Blue!
PSU was overrated as a top 10 this year. A couple good RBs but it is never good when you have a 6th year senior qb.

Any team that gets blown out is going to sink in ratings.

But Penn State is not a horrible team.  Even after the loss, they are ranked #16 and are #14 in FPI, #14 in SP+, and #12 in F+.

They are #15 in team talent composite for 2022, having a bunch of high-ranked players:  5-star RB Nicholas Singleton, 5-star DE Dennis-Sutton, 5-star backup QB Drew Allar, a bunch of guys who will be drafted into NFL:  DE Chop Robinson, DT PJ Mustipher, CB Joey Porter, Jr., RB Kaytron Allen, TE Brenton Strange.

They aren't a top 10 team and that was proven Saturday, that was my only point. They should be ranked and they could wipe the floor with most of the ACC and Pac 12. But, top 10 is not accurate, in my opinion.

True, not a top-10 team currently.

I could see Penn State finishing 10-2 on the regular season, though, with losses only to Michigan and Ohio State.  That could put them back in the top-10.

Care to explain that? Generally speaking, experience is a good thing for athletes.

Penn State vs. OSU was a fun game to watch.  So many unusual things in that game, and at 3 minutes left, it was 30 OSU to 24 PSU.  Then two OSU touchdowns and one PSU touchdown in the last 3 minutes.

Then I look at some of the day's scores so far and see #22 Kansas State beating #9 Oklahoma State 48-0!  Ye gods!  What the heck happened to Oklahoma State?

Go Vols!  Nice trouncing of #19 Kentucky.  :aok

I would love to see my two favorite teams -- Michigan and Tennessee -- meet in the playoffs.

Big weekend coming up.

Vols vs. Georgia.  Go Vols!  :aok

Clemson vs. Notre Dame.  Notre Dame hasn't been that good, but Clemson has looked highly vulnerable.  Can Notre Dame beat them?

Alabama vs. LSU.  Alabama not looking as unbeatable this year, and LSU on a big upswing (from looking quite bad).  Might be more of a game than it seemed earlier.

Bama LSU won't be as close as people think. Bama should beat them easily. If so, they will likely represent the West in the Championship. Sadly, UGA UT is likely the game that decides which one goes to the playoffs. Especially if the winner happens to lose the SEC Championship. The committee doesn't send the best 4 teams, but the 4 teams who deserve it the most.

I'm thinking two SEC teams will be in the playoffs.

Maybe Alabama and the Vols, or Alabama and Georgia.  And lesser chance of it being Vols and Georgia.

But still lots of football games left that can change what's going on.
