The California power grid is a mess. It's been this way for as long as anyone can remember.

I'm not sure how they expect people to go to all electric vehicles when they can't even supply power to people's air conditioners when they're dying from the heat.

I was making a point too.  you complain now because the grid is insufficient and you will complain tomorrow when they tax to upgrade the grid.

so either way you will complain. or you can just set your thermostat to 78 instead of 72.

I didn't fly squad night tonight because of the alert. Figured I would rather keep the ac running. I already do all that other energy conservation stuff that is recommended and I'm actually shown as using less electricity this year than last.

Not sure why we should pay more taxes for a reliable power grid. We are already the highest taxed state in the union for real bad service all the way around.

it did come as a surprise, as I was in bed and suddenly both of my phones started blaring with the emergency broadcast alarms.
