Not quite what it used to be but prime time still gets up to 100 players. Those fights can get pretty intense

Depending what you mean by "ages", you will probably appreciate the changes in Ace High 3.   The new dot radar actually distinguishes between fighters and bombers for you.

Only takes a handful a fighters to create a nice furball; at prime time evening (U.S.) you should have no problem finding fights if you're looking for them.

Hardware requirements have probably changed since you've played, but if you have anything better than a -60 series nVidia card (1060, 2060, 3060 and above) you should be golden.  -50 series may be iffy, 1050 Ti probably OK, 3050 should work OK for 1080p resolutions.

On the AMD side, a 6500 is probably a minimum for good 1080p frame rates?

You need to look a little harder sometimes, but during us prime time is usually good.  Might take some country changing to accomplish.

Afternoons CST can produce some fun too.

Mornings CST is usually a dead sea.  I stopped logging in during these hours because it's usually disappointing.

"bombrich" is back as of today after many years away. I'm now in my mid-60's with some health problems like my friend Wasp was when I left the game. I was saddened to hear of his passing.

I'll be popping in on occasion, usually during the day. I really like the look of the game. I have a new 'puter and the game and terrain is looking very good.

Its nice to see some old names still up. I see Brooke is still involved in scenarios. Some of my best memories are of joining him during them. Oh gosh there were so many good ones its hard to remember them all.

Probably have to Spitdweep it for awhile until I get up to speed. Hopefully I'll get back in my B-17s, KI-67s, B-24's from my times in the 484'th HBG. Lotsa good times.

I remember you WP. Jump in the water with me and we'll get the numbers up higher. Its very exciting to be back if even in a limited role. LOL There wont by any all nighters anymore.

There are a bunch of new skins for the B-17 and B-24.   Hopefully something will strike your fancy.   The heavies never looked better, IMHO.

As little as I fly these days....I may swoop in, but we may die together amongst great laughter at out predicament.

As Eagler said, VR is the beast now. Folks using it have a distinct advantage in view. This game is well setup for it.
