"Miss Fire/Rozzie Geth II" was flown by Major Frederick J. Christensen of the 56th Fighter Group, 62nd Fighter Squadron in late 1944. He joined the squadron as a Lieutenant in 1943, scoring the first of his eventual 21.5 kills in November of that year. By summer 1944 he was a Major and on the 7th July was leading the squadron home from an escort mission when they stumbled across a dozen Ju-52 transports landing at an airbase. Ten of the transports were brought down, six by Christensen, making him the first 8th Air Force pilot to shoot down six aircraft in a day.
