Betty Memorial Flight
« on: October 13, 2022, 09:34:46 AM »
I have asked Jaeger to make the AvA available for a memorial flight.

If any are willing to attend or want to help organize, please respond.

When we did Dr7's memorial there was over 45 tanks on the runway and 60+ aircraft doing the missing man formation.

I say Typhoons and bombers performing a missing man formation with Typhoons and bombers lined up along the runway.

I was just talking with another player on this subject, we kicked around some ideas.
I want to make sure there are respectful numbers, think the Ava or the main arena would be better?
I am beyond happy there is an interest in a memorial flight, I worried there arent enough old timers left out there to make it respectful. She was my squadie and she is missed, this is hitting me harder than I expected.

I know Betty was very pleased when Greebo did a RAF 193 Squadron skin and its nose art was named “Betty”. It would be an excellent choice if all Typhoons used that skin for the flight.

What day works best is usually Sunday.

How about 8pm eastern time in the AvA
