And this is the laziness that kids now have, especially the "I want to be an internet attention potato and not care about my education because people that pretend to like me on the internet are more important" Good luck with that attitude in trying to get a real job
Good job I passed English literature then, in England at secondary school 😝

I'm curious how the sim feels with less than 400ms latency.

Could be this....ad revenue from twitch.tv

Beginning in August 2022, Affiliates will earn a 55% ad revenue split for setting Ads Manager to 3 minutes or more of ads per hour.

so basically perhaps a spam account trying to get viewers so he can get more money from forcing people to watch ads on his stream. And this part also

"why reserve when you can give it a try, even form a aces high squadron, you would probably all wipe the floor anyways"

Telling already subscribed AH members to subscribe. Something is amiss here.

Dont know how old this is but found it
It depends on how many people view the ad.

Twitch currently pays their streamers $3.50 USD CPM. That means that for every 1000 people who sees an ad on a streamer’s channel, that streamer will receive $3.50.

It doesn’t matter how long the ad is either. A 15 second ad pays the same as a 3 minute ad.

If you’re a big streamer who regularly gets over 1000 concurrent viewers per stream, then you could make a nice handful of money by running ads. Let’s face it though, if your community is that large, you’re probably already getting paid sponsorships which pay a lot more.

So yes, a spam account for twitch ad revenue

"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

My bad. I have an account there also. And yes, their flight model is terrible. Their AO system is bogus also, cant sneak anything.

Although there flight model is not very good compared to this game the community is a bit friendlier and not as hostile towards new guys and the game is still getting updated. (No shade at HTC just fact) From my understanding they are giving away a brand new HOTAS setup or something if you get top pilot after the end of the Campaign. Not very good form what Adam is doing but I kind of it get it.

Correct, theirs actually three prizes up for grabs, for first second and third, first is a hotas setup, second is track IR and third is a logitech extreme 3D joystick, this is the first time ive seen any ww2 sim of any kind do this for years, and with you all being air boys,or men, even if its just for a month, theirs something to win, as promised, i am going to pay a subscritpion here next month, for this post, however you probably will not see me playing, but for the sake of a months sub,and all planes free while still in tier one, its worth a go! why not

If youtube actually paid what they should be, you would be correct, but infact it would be me donating rather than advertising a give-away, i am no cheapscape

I see people saying the community is hostile, but every time I see a new player, everyone tries to help and is understanding.
