Adding night into a game that is dominated by aircraft that only flew combat missions during the day is absolutely ridiculous.

If Dale added night fighters it would be a different story and considering how many folks logged when night came while I was playing it seems like Dale is purposely trying to destroy his own customer base.

that is what the community is for, to help all new players if they are having issues, brother... so they don't log

It's my experience that a lot of new players don't know how, or don't want to ask for help.  I've offered help to many who sat on the runway for 10 minutes, or crashed on takeoff a few times then logged off forever without asking a question.

Like the old saying goes, "you only get one chance to make a good first impression".

Getting them to fly into the then invisible water while trying to avoid the same fate is all that night brings imo...

With the expedited period of night nothing can be planned or executed and as the icon range doesn't change night doesn't do much for most

That would be interesting, to hunt boomers in the night with a help of a radar. In general, night adds some realism but I mostly stay in GVs during it.

10am to 3pm should be the cycle imo to avoid dusk and dawn that some systems struggle with
