My gamma slider doesnt work in VR. I dont know about anyone else. I have an Oculus Rift and AMD 5600xt. Night time SUCKSSSS for gameplay. Half the time I just get on a manned gun because I cant see anything.

Said it a million times. I appreciate the effort that went into producing the effect. Sky looks great. But night is not useful in a game where we fly only daytime fighters. Night sucks. Worst of it is---it follows me every time I log in to play. Last time it was bad enough there was next to no one in the arena but it's getting dark too. I just said, yaknow what? I'm not doing this again and just logged.

If the time never left 8am-4pm on a constant loop that'd be great. Night has no use here. Come up with a scenario with radar and night fighters then yeah.... But that ain't likely.

But like I said....a million times. And the next time I log in.... It'll be getting dark again. Nothing changes.

Getting them to fly into the then invisible water while trying to avoid the same fate is all that night brings imo...

With the expedited period of night nothing can be planned or executed and as the icon range doesn't change night doesn't do much for most

Yeah, everyone else has surpassed me in keeping up with the gaming  computers and video cards..and now vr...

While I am here sinking 10s of thousands of dollars trying to fight to keep my parents home.

Only if I could have got the mortgage company to accept and take some of that money I would be in a much better way....

Sure he does. It's just that his eyesight sucks and has a hard enough time landing hits on his targets in daytime, let alone, night.

I guess they could leave it day and anyone who misses the night can turn their gamma down when they want.

This was a feature that was requested for some time by a lot of players.  Hitech would turn on the night when he flew on Christmas eve as Santa, and a lot of players thought it would be a cool feature to add to the game. 

Night time only lasts for a short time, then the sun comes up again.

For me it’s the sun setting/rising twilight periods that make it difficult. Totally dark “night” I see much better than the former periods. I don’t have VR and run only one monitor, vid card is fairly outdated too - GTX 660TI.
