Pacific map in the Axis Vs Allies Arena??
A yappy back seater like Jester wasn’t popular or fun to fly with, more of an unnecessary distraction than anything else---Puma44

It would be an honor to fly in the missing man formation.
I imagine Jaeger can setup the SEA II for the Memorial. I can ask him. ..

I messaged Jaeger. He should answer back soon.

AKAK's last squad was the 479th FG - which I *think* was a 9th AF outfit active in the ETO.   He was the only member however.   I'm sorry I can't recall, but was he active with a larger squad back in the day?

Murdr (Troy) was in the 479th going back to AirWarrior, I have contacted him on the phone and text...am expecting a call from him later (to get a list of cpids (AW) and gameids (AH)

We appreciate all of your input oboe, thank you for your envision of how the script of Ack-Ack's Memorial Flight will be... sounds most excellent!

The best one that happened with barely an issue, was the one the community and the Damned held for Damned Buzzard...but I can't recall if his also had the tanks lined up down both side's of the runway along with planes when the missing man formation flew straight down over the runway....but memory is not that good (barely all I could do just to type out and think/ remember)

I've flew 2 or 3 times and have flown the 3rd slot a few times, this AH community has lost 😢 a lot of players..

<S> TC.  Thank you.

It hit me during Betty's memorial that one of the greatest things about AH is this community.  It was really touching that so many people took time to participate in the flight for her.   My vision was just a suggestion to help the get ball rolling, and I don't expect it has to be just the way I described it.

And I will certainly be available to step in for any role you guys need me for!

15:00 Eastern time has long been proven to be the best time for any event to get maximum participation from around the world.  That would be my preference.  :)

479th was 8th AF.  The 479th went back to the Airwarrior days.

Right you are, Dan.   479th FG was the last FG to join the 8th, on 14 May 1944.

I won’t be here for the flight but I have trying to find the screenshot that last time Ack and I merged he was in the 38 of death and I was in my 109 we were so close it was picture perfect and after the merge I actually won against the best 38 pilot . It has a purple smoke back ground if anyone can find that on the screenshot forum maybe 8 years lol

Wondering now if we want to add Challenger to this Memorial Flight.   Perhaps have two missing man formations?

Not sure what aircraft was Challenger's favorite.   He sure did a nice job with the P-47 and P-51 engine sounds...

I will be there in spirit Ack-Ack and I were squaddies for a long time back in the 90s and taught me how to belly flop the 38 pretty good. Shooting stuff down with it was a totally different story.
