56th FG pilot Jack Bradshaw (732kb)
« on: December 03, 2001, 01:34:00 AM »
At the 2001 Aces High Convention, one of the speakers was Jack Bradshaw.  Jack couldn't join the Air Corps because he was just out of high school and you needed to have 2 years of college.  So he volunteered to fly for the RAF and flew Hurricanes and Spits.  Later he transferred to the USAAF and flew P-47s with the 56th FG.  Here's a couple of pictures of him and his aircraft:

Jack flew some overmodelled, uber planes.  :D  If I had it handy, I'd link to Wabbit's video from the con where Jack tells his own story.

We should get both of those aircraft in AH as perks.

EDIT: I really enjoyed hearing him speak at the con.

I fully agree. I'd like to have a jug to use perks, as for now, perks means nothing for me. It shoud be relatively "easy" to make P-47M to AH, yes? Just add 1.1x multiplier to speed..

Nice pics sancho.

Cool stuff Sancho.  How did you come across the pics?  BTW, after hearing the discussion about the A-26, I am eagerly awaiting its arrival too  :)
