Looking for a Nazi building

Fellow History fans,

I dont know if this relates to AH, but I'm looking for pictures of a german building., When the GIs reached it, they blew up the swastica on it. It's a famous picture, I think the building was in Nuremburg and designed by hitler and Spear. Do any of you know what Imn talking about? Just the name or locale would suffice.

Hmm, not sure where to find pic, I believe the Soviets reached it first, and blew the thing up...try searching with  Metacrawler..

ER, meant to say "Blew the Swatika up.." not the building...

Maybe it's a Reichstag ("parliament") building with a Red Banner on it? Victory Banner is one of holy symbols here...

The worst thing about is is that the building was in "allied" occupaton zone, and the banner was taken away...

Prehaps you are thinking about the parade-grounds at Nuremberg?
If it was the Reichstag (parliment) in Berlin it would not have been GIs as the Red Army took Berlin.
