Failing to download around the poland area - artik's program

Hi all,

Been a while since I've used this program - I updated to 1.13. Trying to spit out some strat maps for Poland area and come across this error:

Error:Failed to download file http://srtm.motoroute.me/SRTM3/Eurasia/N56E012.hgt.zip to ./temp/tmp.zip

I am using srtm3 but tried srtm30 and the following coords:
lat=52.39
lon=19.04
scale=1.1

Any ideas - or just an outdated file now?

On the srtm30 mirror site there is a message:

Bitte kommen Sie später wieder. Die Webseite wird gerade bearbeitet. => Please come back later. The website is currently being edited.

I think you need to use SRTM3...

Hopefully SRTM30 will be back.

Hmm alright I will give it some time and try again. I tried both srtm3 and 30 but no luck. Appreciate the info!

From what I see SRTM3 is still there. SRTM30 looks like gone.

If you want your guys to continue to use this program... Take care and make full mirrors of SRTM3 and SRTM30...

And other sources Globcover and GSHHS

Without SRTM30 or GTOPO30 - no Murmansk, Finland etc. I hope somebody will find working mirror.

Please do not ignore it. makeahmap is main program all terrains are build today

I have them on my HD. I'll check the sizes and see if I can upload them to a dedicated thread in here (might take a couple of days) and later have Hitech sticky it. He's a bit preoccupied at the moment. Saw his thread in the General late Saturday night.

Ok I found new mirror

I updated sources

Also looks like gtopo is back as well

Update it and everything should work

Who knows when the data will be gone again.

I don't play AH any more and I try to keep the mirror list updated for old good days and for respect for the great community.

But it wouldn't be forever.

Sorry, my error, I was trying to make a 512 map of North America with a scale of "20". It didn't work, works great up to a scale of "8", but won't work higher than that. Just goofing around.

I have everything up besides SRTM3 since it is massive. Should be able to upload it tonight though.
