Bf 109G-5 (pressurized cockpit version of a G-6) operated by 9./Jg 54 in early 1944. This plane is known to have been flown by three different pilots; Emil Hecker, Gerhard Kroll, and Fritz Unger. It was shot down on April 8, 1944 with Kroll flying it. Kroll survived this event.
Yellow 11 was photographed with a improvised "high altitude" camouflage scheme consisting of splotches and squiggles of RLM 76 over the usual top side grays of RLM 74 and 75. Not sure how well it worked with all the brightly colored markings typical of 9./Jg 54.
