Hungarian 190F-8
« on: April 18, 2023, 12:12:08 AM »
This skin is an adoption of Fencer's original skin.

Fw190F-8 operated by the 102/1 Ground Attack Squadron "Puli" in January 1945. Hungary began receiving 190F-8's in November 1944, just as the Red Army was beginning to encircle the Hungarian capital of Budapest. They were used heavily in the fighting in Hungary and into Czechoslovakia as for the remainder of the war.

This aircraft wears the code W-520 on the fuselage sides in black with the last two digits repeated in white on the cowling. The squadron crest of a shaggy dog is painted beneath the forward canopy. Full color Hungarian insignias are painted in 6 places and the rudder features the colors of the Hungarian flag on it's top half. Yellow Hungarian theater markings consist of a tail band and a "V" under the port wing that wraps around the leading edge.
