Hello all,
I am building a P47 WISH LIST SKIN page and I am looking for the ORIGINAL 63rd FS Insignia.. not he one with the Panther on it. The original had a a guy riding a lightning bolt with a machingune mounted on the lighting bolt. Anybody that can help would be greatly appreciated.

This is one I restored awhile ago. I got a few pretty much unusable pictures of the original logo.

BTW Gorf, the first one you have is the squadron emblem for the 487th FS/352nd FG, "Meyer's Lil' Bastards".

The emblems for the other three squadrons are at our website. The link is in my signature.

The 352nd flew P-47D Razorbacks from Sept 43 to Apr 44.

- This was from the P-47D of Lt Robert Berkshire of the 487th FS. HQ felt that this was too risque' and made him change it
