sometimes. Half of that place is an arcade with every kind of consoles out there from Xbox to old NES and Atari. The other half is a tavern style for Dungeons and Dragons style games.

95% of the flying I do is from a gun position in F3 mode. This allows 360° field of view. Once you switch back to the gun from F3 mode you are generally pointed at your target and have to make minor adjustments with the mouse if you maintain your situational awarness and keep the gunspointed at your target

Field of views from American B24's:

Gun2 position - gives 360° FOV from the bottom
Gun3 position - gives 360° FOV from the top
Gun4 position - gives 180° FOV behind the aircraft top to bottom
Gun5 position - gives 180° FOV in front of the aircraft top to bottom

Just knowing the F3 views is half the battle. Something I failed to mention earlier in the last post is your situational awareness must be on point at all times. It's not enough to know the views. You have to observe the airspace around you constantly and identify those threats that will attack you first. That alone is a game within a game so to speak. There can be 20 nme fighters in an area. I'm visually tracking all of them and identifying which ones are the first threats. As soon as I know which one will attack me first I will highlight it with the tab button and then cycle through each fighter as they make their passes. What's difficult is when your attacked from the front and the rear. The guns are fixed to F3 mode all over your bomber so if you are looking down and right from the nose gun and need to switchto the rear high and left you have to bring the guns to that FOV which in the heat of the moment feels like forever. So I will always try and manually reset the guns by using F3 from a gunposition, bring the guns to target, then hop back into the guns to aim and fire. Extremely tedious work but very manageable even when doing it in 2 sets of bombers.

 A perfect example of what I spoke about above happens in the first part of this video I took. I track the target visually in F3 mode from a gun position and then switch to the gun to take a shot and hit the LA in the cockpit. As with anything you practice at you will master and this is no exception. I instinctual know about where to look to have my guns pretty dang close to on target when in F3 mode.

It doesn't always work or play out but sometimes your afforded the opportunity to take away a fighters shot like you see me do in that video. By using alt-x or shift-x to dive or climb and then using the rudder from a gun position in F3 mode.

The one thing I will say about the engagements between us which have been few is I don't remember being on point with my SA when we have fought. It makes all the difference being dialed in. You can't just log in and expect to make great shots. I usually am very poor in the guns until I've warmed up. With that said you usually catch me off guard which speaks to your greatness 👊  same goes for player like vraciu who comes out of nowhere from outer space or the judge who is a wizard.
