Help me identify this Aircraft light
« on: July 10, 2023, 08:00:38 AM »
Shared in a collectables page I frequent, please help identify! <S>

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

:rofl There are an amazing amount of navigation lights around..... more when you consider historical possibilities. I was just going to say red light, but someone already took that one.  :D

I was a machinist at Grimes aerospace in Urbana Ohio. They made interior and exterior lighting and had about 65% of all Western made aircraft manufactured in the world with their products . They also made lighting and the wing tips like the one in the photo.

While working there I get into inspection and had to learn how to pot the lens into place. The numbers should be searchable through  the FAA I don’t recall how the numbering system works now.

The answer is in the number.
