Its probably just the connection. There are times where it takes me only a few bullets to kill a guy and other times even 80 bullets gets a gear and that's it. It drives me AWOL. But unfortunately that is gaming today and things just aren't consistent due to internet connections. So it could be you not realizing you are being hit when you actually are.
