Thanks to Lyric for the images of this aircraft - made all the difference in adding some subtle details.   Mostly complete, still fine-tuning some layers.   There are different versions of this aircraft - some with the "RED-E RUTH" text in blue, but I liked the white with blue drop shadow.   This was one of Republic's "War Bond" planes, bought with donations made by Republic employees, and designated as such by the Seal on the fuselage sides.   The nose art is a pinup by Alberto Varga.

Nice!

Skins are some of the best graphics in AH

They should be highlighted on the AH homepage imo

Found an angle I really like for this 20,000lb brute.  The pilot looks tiny inside the huge airframe.

Interesting - glad I got it positioned about right.   Some profiles omit it, some show it lower on the fuselage.

Wonder what happened to the lower half of the gear door?

I believe this image is the day it was unloaded off the ship. So some assembly required after that.

For some reason they removed that paint work on the inflight images its not there. Only reason I know its legit the guy who made the decals answered a question I asked on Facebook. He dealt personally with the pilot and was given images of this plane by him with it.
