I was just wanting to know if there was a maximum size for gun sounds and if so what it was...because i attempted to overlay a couple of new gun sounds yet they dont seem to work even tho i replaced them correctly...i just assumed that it was a file size error.

I think you have to pay attention to the length of the sound.  The length of time the sound plays for.  Not so much the file size.
