your right, I did have another copy in there. I final got it working. I removed all the Mod files I was messing with and started over. I got it right this time and it works. Thanks for the help.

The A4 is one of the funnestest of ALL the modules.  Pack that sucker full of Snakeyes do some low alt level bombing... it's glorious fun.  The "X" South of Kobuleti on Hoggit Training is all set up and ready for just such runs.

I enjoy loading the A-4 with three 20mm gunpods.  Aerial shotgun!  The recoil pulls the nose down on strafing runs.  Still not as much nose bounce as in AH.  :D

Also have to learn how to map my X52.  But, that's what this summer is for.  Plenty of time to learn  :rock :joystick:

Not familiar with the X52, but this might help map the X52.

Hope this helps

OH-6 is a tough helo to control.  Very touchy.

A touch too nose high on a chandelle and it went all non-linear on me. 😉

Saw a lot of people running red lights. You issue any citations?

The kneeboard is especially useful for those using VR.

What I’m finding in the new side of the genre, its not the same genre at all.

Seems everyone is focused on viewing pretty graphics, bullet strikes, explosions etc,..100% void of any full fights, no talk of ACM, SA. Kinda like 16 yr old boys fixated over Playboy pictures.

I guess if that’s what some are into then go for it. But its NOT the same genre I left 15 yrs ago. I compare it to the difference between football and golf or tennis.

Pretty everything, but its no longer a majority of dogfighting.

I guess if I want to sit and play with buttons while sightseeing I might become interested. I never see that happening. I’ll play hockey over golf any day of the week. That change would be the same day I put fingernail polish on my nails and ware a tootoo.

“There’s fights…” ya about 10% of the sim, “some” is not up to par.
Finally I see a fight just to find out the lameness was because they were fighting a drone void of any ACM.

It’s a shame I have to play old graphics with no attendance and suicide decisions to catering to former players to chip our numbers away over the current costumers who are here to find numbers,.. to find a true dogfighting base. We pay to be deprived of our efforts.

I’d rather retire from the genre with fun memories than glittery boredom.

Have your new type of “fun”, I have no interest in that type of “fun”. I never got into it for that fluff. Like watching MTV. Its void of any adrenaline. More talk about FX and cockpits than an actual dogfight against a living human. Trippy Appleseed likes AI over MP, he doesn't even like dogfighting other humans, because AI is easier to beat.

The first time I saw AW in 88 had nothing to do with the draw of graphics, it was the human furballs. The genre changed, I didn’t. Farewell old friend.

If some of the freaks in this thread is an indication of what kind of community is there, I want nothing to do with it. Its like watching someone in their first drunk acting the fool. I feel embarrassed for them, I feel bad for the current players and contributors who are kicked in the nads from every direction. Neglect is candy coating it. The scent of an agreement is in the air.

No thanks.

You will go down in sim history as helping kill the king for personal gain of nothing.
