« on: January 28, 2024, 06:47:33 AM »

a few of us talked this morning about ouer lost members... we talked about thair names and who did leave us.
i think it would be a nice idea to get a lidel grave jarde were thair names are listed.... we enjoied so much time with thems.. af frind or as enemy but thay belonged all to ouer smal family of warbird lovers.

what do you think?

I would like to visit it. Further, I'd like it to be a military free zone so that no tanks would lurk there or no fighters would shoot the visitor. Something you can entry only by foot. That shouldn't be too hard to code. Something similar protection as the tower has, allowing to see what happens around you.

:aok  Absolutely!   I will even by the Scotch, if need, for the "bribe"!  Awesome idea, Chris! An addition like this would dang sure make Memorial Flights spectacular!  Well, MORE spectacular?   They are pretty spectacular now, but would be an awesome improvement  :salute

Yep! And I want my own tombstone there with a text I've chosen.

WOW

This idea is FANTASTIC!!! I can think of two longtime members who passed and losing them greatly impacted how the game felt and even how it was run!

I say two players who left us and should NOT EVER be forgotten are AckAck and also Betty!

Lastly, this is A VERY VERY Awesome idea and should be done!! PLEASE?

Maybe a book or list in the o'club where you switch countries might be easier...

Not sure who would keep it updated...

This is not in-game graveyard; it's a website memorializing the Aces High fallen.

Don't know if you knew about it - but it seems to be kept up-to-date.   The grave-markers are links to the BB post where the player's passing was announced, so you can view the communities response to the news.  This site is nicely done.

Honestly it should go outside of town, like at town's edge and make it invulnerable like the main hanger at fields.

I think it should go in the middle of the town and if you hit it a lightning bolt comes down from heaven and smites your butt.
