Events, IMO more so scenarios brings players out of their country rival bubble and humanizes the otherwise competition when they work together on the same goal. One tends to walk away with a much bigger view of the sim, and higher appreciation for otherwise untapped comradery. . This is living the whole sim. The MA is just a part of it. Its very healthy for the game on several levels.

You will never get this from AI based games. AI is just 1/3 of the big picture.
I view the sims that use AI to fill the void of humans as “Fools Gold”, all that glitters is not gold. THIS is gold. And you won’t get this anywhere else, no matter how they over-sell their AI based sim. No other sim has this.
What proves my point for me is those players of fools gold hang here to over-sell their fools gold and avoid this subject at all cost. They cannot even offer multiplayer scenarios. They may have the diamond dust, sharply lacking the big picture. And they want the better pilots this game produces, selling them fools gold to convince them. They are here because they don’t have what we do. They are lacking. We have so much action the human eye doesn’t have the bored time to take in the graphics. But they sure do have more buttons in their cockpit, which they rarely view outside of it to take in their graphics. They are here because their game is half-baked.
You will never get what we have there. The big picture. You won’t get true more intelligent human reaction of your opponent, which is what truly builds skills snd adrenaline flow.
AH multiplayer Events/Scenarios brings that big picture into view and enhances the experience of true immersion. This cannot be replaced with AI no matter how pretty it is, that you won’t notice during true action. This puts us way above the rest. I’m not hear for sight seeing sorties

This event proved scenarios draw players.As much work by the best it can be, we should have 4-6 major events per yr. Besides video advertisement, scenarios like this really gets the word outside our bubble. We drew players from other sims just to be a part of it. Its a major draw.
BTW, the events team is providing an opportunity for players to join the team. For the players, by the players.
