Really good strategic play
« on: June 24, 2024, 07:25:53 AM »
Yesterday the bish rolled bases in the first part of the day on pizza map all the way to knight strats. After 3 hrs Knights had reversed that and were knocking on the door to bishop strats. Throughout this process many fights were had.

I had taken a break and on my return the knights had held onto all the bases the acquired earlier in the day so the focus shifted to rooks. Over the next 3 hrs, knights took base after base despite a stout defense. With 3 bases to go for the win a group of about 5 bishops began a counter-offensive that would all but wipe the progress made by the knights earlier in the day. This ultimately would save the map and prevent the war being won by the knights.

Really good strategic play this weekend. The game despite its lower numbers continues to provide excellent strategic opportunities and tons of action.

In the morning, Bishops rolled bases aggressively, advancing to knight strategies.
