Shame... shame... shame... eh...

Quote
Canada women's football manager Beverly Priestman will not take charge of her side's Olympics opener against New Zealand after two members of her backroom staff were sent home for allegedly flying a drone over the Kiwis' team training session.

Probably the most interesting thing to happen in womans soccer for the last 20 years.

The circus act regarding the torch was enough.

Done. Don’t care about any of it at all.

Professional athletes competing started the downfall, now they’ve got drag story hour competition…

They're casting their bait over there, see?

It’s been a farce since split the summer and winter games.  Now it’s just a money grab.

That is a lot of trouble to go through. Especially when a group of 15yo boys would destroy them. Athletics whether professional or amateur has become a farce, no more than a bunch of dancing monkeys with oversized egos.

And it's leaking down to college and now high school sports..

They are great distractions I guess, I used to get excited for the gators but I think I outgrew it..that's what it feels like anyhow..ridiculous money and egos ruined pro sports a longtime ago..

Pro ball is a rule change or two from becoming flag football imo

Though I don't understand it I find rugby the best..no pads

Same.  I haven't been to a Gator game in a few years.  Partly because I don't have time, but mostly because of the NIL/transfer portal crap.  Store bought sports just don't interest me.  Don't ask me what the solution is either.  You can go back to the old transfer rules, but that still leaves NIL.

Bread and circus’s my friend. Just a means to keep the general populace with their ever shrinking mean IQ placated.
