It tours around the country, world at times and has been in a few movies too.
Its home is Mesa, AZ - CAF Museum. I’ve been fortunate enough to climb inside and get a private tour (rainy day only one interested) from one of the crew ~2015.
It’s a shame that at one point a friend’s Great-Uncle and Adolf Galland worked together to build a fighter museum out there that was quite incredible. Falcon field is still a great visit if you have the opportunity but once upon a time there was a much larger collection there that’s been parsed out around the country.
Pima Air & Space is a lot more bang for your effort if you’re visiting AZ. However, you can also rent/tour the CAF planes. $325 for a B-25 waist gunner seat ride.
