That’s only happened to me once, with hurricane Ian.

Ian tore up our home in the Cape and we just completed repairing recently. It was crazy that I knew a few people that had their  flood policies canceled just before the storm

Electric bicycles have caused about 10 times as many building fires as cars.

Just left my home in Weaverville NC luckily no severe damage just a lot of fallen trees, the rivers in western NC and eastern TN have totally wiped out houses and businesses, some of the small river towns are completely gone, my wife stayed at our home in Florida (gulf coast) while i was winterizing NC home and she was more worried for me, Asheville river arts district, Biltmore village, Swannanoa, Marshall and Chimney Rock is all toast...its gonna be a long recovery, it will take years.

XVIII Airborne Corps rapidly deploys ready Army forces anywhere in the world by air, land or sea, entering forcibly if necessary, to shape, deter, fight and win.

Seems they must be busy doing something else.  :headscratch:
They're casting their bait over there, see?

"Twinboom" got hit pretty hard. He's getting a lot of help from friends and neighbors, but his daughter has started a GoFundMe page for those who would like to help out.
