Monday Night Madness

8pm EST in the SEA2 arena

come join us for our usual monday night fun!!

please understand that Monday night madness is useful for training. we turn on

the gunsite computer to help people see where to shoot. some people use it, some dont,

but its available to everyone. just ask how to turn it on.

Join us for our usual fun. Meet the many good people of the game and the fun

in shooting down or being shot down while slamming into a skyscraper!!

Monday Night madness is fun for everyone of all skill levels, its exciting

and all your friends are there, and everyone talks to each other!

We use all midwar planes only. some are easy mode, some are not.

join us for Monday Night Madness in the AVA starting at 8pm EST.

every week there are more and more players coming to check this out!

Pilots are trying to fly in the fog, between buildings,

all the while checking your 6, gets very very intense. plane parts flying everywhere!!

If you're not that good, don't worry about it. we'll help you get better.

It"s great for training, for situational awareness and how

to become a better pilot. it will help you whip some butt in the MA! you wont be sorry.

remind people about two things:

balance, towards the numbers skewed knits 8-5

HOing - there's a reason you took 2x HOs from me to get my message across... I was HO'd 3x by 3 different players, after the 3rd, I had enough. And they weren't borderline ones, either.

Mind your HO (and maybe your rams)... you were the second of the 3 that blatantly HO'd me.

I think everyone gets hoed a few times when it's tight, alot of planes and action. Stuff happens. 9 times out of 10 people apologize on channel for the ho.

Like...chill maybe?

I'd have called it out if I could. If you're getting HO'd you should call it out as well, otherwise there's no point. I often see people deliberately pull into a HO solution to avoid getting shot (and I do hold my fire when it happens and hope they don't ram me.)

3x, tho' is too much.  Never get any apologies - except maybe from Jaeger now and then.  I don't take sketchy HO or front quarter shots until I start getting them (and after I call them out.)

Newbies have an excuse, regulars do not. Jaeger should be making occasional reminders about it.

Shane,
If I HO's you could be in the middle of a fight, and not intentionally. But in any case,I'm reviewing my films to learn. Stop the drama if you can. On my side, I will stop showing in the arena to stop this situation.

No, more people are welcome, you just need to be mindful of shooting when it's a HO.. I even hold off on front quarter shots to avoid the appearance of a HO.

And before you think I'm just making up drama, let me remind of you of what MNM strives for as it's very clearly addressed in the MNM "rules" in the very first post here:

***NO HOING!!!***

Not my rule. I follow it and call people on it when I can, but I also have my tolerance limits for it.

Once again, newbies have an excuse, regulars to do not, so be more mindful of the shots you take.

I too will avoid most front quarter shots, gotta remember, what you see in your end is not always the same as what the other guy sees on his end. A front quarter shot to you might look like a full on HO to the other guy.

I typically just try and merge and then fight to get on someone’s 6 before I start opening up.

Also, MNM is set up so that IF you do receive what you might perceive as a HO… you can be back in the action in less than 30 seconds, so while it’s important to remind people of the rules, it’s also important to keep a level head and enjoy the event.

Unless I'm wrong, you're not on voice channel(223) on most nights(?)
