Thankyou
I think that will help but I seem to remember it used to be possible to feed mic into your own speakers to set up channels and volume etc. Is that still possible ?
I would like to set up a channel for range and another for a squad or similary like channel 119 for example. I guess I just map channel keys for that.
Im not really sure what your trying to do.
There are 5 radio channels. Hitting the "/" key opens the radio bar.
The first 4 channels are text channels and each can be tuned to a number of channels. Clicking the drop down box gives you the basic ones such as squad, country, all, and so one. Each can also be tuned to a numbered channel like 119. Click and drag your mouse to highlight the channel, type in 119, then hit enter. You can also type in a players name and tune him private, but only on your team you can no longer tune cross countries.
The 5th channel is for voice/vox. It has two channels, local which you use to talk to those in your general area on your team by pressing the "F12" key. The second channel you tune the same as the text channels by using the drop box or highlighting and typing in a number or name. To use this one default is the "T" key.
The "ALL" channel is turned off by HTC. to talk/chat across to other countries you have to use a channel number 200. Also any channel over 200 is a cross country channel.
Last thing, to make things easier on you, you could use a program called "Voice Attack". Its a program that you can use to "speak" your commands and it can hit the keys for you. So you could "say" country channel and it would open the radio and tune it to which ever channel you have set for the country channel and be ready for you to just type it out and it enter. You can use the program to do all kinds of things say "Flaps" and it will drop a notch of flaps for you. 10 free commands, of $10 US for unlimited commands.
Hope this helps.
