You can't ever expect people not to HO.  :old:

As per the order thread, you need to learn the 5 Ds.  :D

What's worse than HOing is the damn 4 on 1 gang with Yaks and 190Ds. Can't anyone learn planes that actually take a little bit of skill to fly? Good greif.

Basically its frowned upon by many. Yet only abided by those with ethics/sportsmanship.

It is kinda another feather plucked from the chicken that down grades MA game play.

That said many merge nose to nose. Dive down, loop up and over and you’ll be on their 6

On the loop come up right after their 6 passes you, stay inverted to see which way they go, on the down side of the loop WEP and regain your speed + to catch. Works very well. They will try to rudder s shot, just go under them steep then pop that nose straight over and ovet, make thay loop toght as possible to not let them get too far ahead.. even if you don’t catch ya avoided the HO death.

1200-1000 out they will fire. If you have them in your sites at that distance, let go a burst and then maneuver. A small dive 100-200 down right or left then pull back up into the loop Animl was talking about works most times. Dont pull hard, watch what they do and act accordingly. Pretty much any move 700-500 out as long as your not strait and level can help you avoid any rounds.

As per the last post on HOs:

Just do a zigzag pattern as you are moving toward them and cross under their nose as you pull up into an emmilman, you'll always have the advantage generally if they try to HO because you got the jump on the angle. If they are going much faster in the merge, avoid the emmilman as they will try for the rope after.

If you are pointing your nose down as they are coming up, all you have to do is create and angle 600 out and then pull up and do a loop instead of going straight head on. They won't be able to hit you and you have them in a rope already, you just need to do a quick loop to get around on then as they try to get the nose back pointed down. Works like a charm and hardly anyone ever does it  :rofl

If you are the one going up, it's basically the worst position you'll want to be in, all you can do really is hope for a collide and watch them lawn dart. You can try to roll, ailerons and hope they miss. In anycase, if they HO, they usually have the better shot, but its a stupid risk for the plane whose coming down. If both HO here, 90% chance both die and 99% both planes are damaged atleast.

I toss my empty crystal matgarita mug at them. Turn around and make them pay. Then pull out another mug and fill it with more frozen margarita. Place a shot on top and all is well.

I have never ho'd a plane that didnt have its nose pointed at me.

it's up to you to give them a ho or a front quarter shot.

semp
you dont want me to ho, dont point your plane at me.

Hoing is a choice. Just go left right up or down. Its pretty easy. Conplaining means u lost the Hoe

But if you meet a KI-43 going straight for you when you're in a Me-410 with Mk103 cannons on it .... its kind of excusable :D
