The minimum Radar Altitude setting has been updated in the MA. It was raised from an original setting of 65 ft. to 100 ft.  :salute

Credit to HTC, that's a good start! Hoping some further slight adjustments are made, for one, no dot dar outside of radar rings.  :aok

I remember backing the day we used to do now Lanc raids and take out a vbase for a quick take. NDisles was fun because of all the water you can just pop up unexpected.
Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

I agree with the change.

Was there an official announcement from HT?

Think it should be 150-200ft to have any real effect on the MA. Nice to know that SOME adjustments are being made. And does that 100ft apply if your in icon range of another aircraft or tank or does magic AWACS cancel it out?

I asked to increase it to the 200 ft. level, but Hitech was not agreeable to that number. I am hopeful we may be able to raise it again in the not to distant future. It will depend, I believe, on how the results are. As to the "AWACS" issue, I do not know. That is something we can test.

I have noticed Hitech is spending more time on Game work. What that means long term, we'll have to wait and see. I am aware that there are others making efforts in support of the long term viability of the game, beyond Kong and myself.

Great news Jimmy! Any and all tweaks are much appreciated. Thanks Hitech  :salute

Perhaps a quick post from the head honcho now & again would give hope that the game is NOT stagnating into oblivion.
