No icons in film viewer

Trying to use films, but  they are sort of usless without the Icons that identify the planes.  Now they are barely visible dots on the screen.

There is a button to turn on the icons and trails in the viewer. Check it out here on a page I made about how I use the film viewer.

There is a box you have to check in the film viewer for the icons to appear. It's on the upper right hand side.

Quick question since we are on the subject of film viewer.

Are you able to see manned guns view/88s?

I remember viewing film and thought it not showing up

you cant jump into a gun and see that view in the film viewer as it doesnt show whos in the guns. I have never filmed from a gun so Im not sure if that works.

I haven’t ventured there yet. But if all else fails you can screen capture it with a 3rd party app. You just would not have some options in FV. What you see is what you get.

My bets there will be a clear answer shortly

so you can confirm that 88's get icon on planes at 12k (!!) range. 

Unfortunately, dl-ing the game won't provide you the ability to understand/answer the actual question being asked about film viewer functionality. 

Protip: film viewer sidebar shows planes out to 12k range and you can hop into any of them as long as within that range of your own plane.

Fugi, Ya I use links to it from my page. I just try to stay out of your way and do the Windows gaming tweaks route.
I am eventually going to do a graphical description of what certain things can do in FV, if you like them you can run them to keep the sites separated.
