Mic problems

My mic sliders keep changing levels all on there own, both mic volume and db boost. it dosnt mater if auto db boost is disabled or not. I am using a Hyper X Cloud stinger 2 wireless headset.

Are you hitting OK after changes?

Are you using a Hyper X Cloud stinger 2 manager software? Some units come with their own software to assign levels and such. If so check to see if that software is resetting your sound settings. If so, either make a profile for AH, or disable the manager.

Have you tried updating your headset drivers or checking for any software conflicts? Sometimes resetting the audio settings or using a different USB port can help too.

For what I've noticed the microphone settings can change after having used some other program that automatically changes them. Some years ago Skype seemed to be the culprit for my similar issues. Double checking when starting the game is an easy remedy.
