New player could use some help

"Magma" is trying to get setup. If ya see him check on him to see if he got setup ok. He logged off before I could finish helping him get mic working as I got into a dogfight.

Whenever I see a name that I don't recognize, I check his score to see if it's a new name or an old hand returning.  Fun to see some really old names on the killed/killed-by lists of returning players.

Maybe I hadn't look so much before, and maybe wishful thinking....but I do the same and recently been noticing 4-5 per night in what APPEARS to me to be new players.
