Last night we has several new or return players.
One, same guy who had take off problems the night before, wanted to know how to launch torps. Since I haven’t fired torps in yrs I asked if someone could help him.
3-5 knits instantly jumped in and went well beyond what he asked and got him setup on what planes to start with. Pretty sure he finally took flight in a spit.
I didn’t have any doubts but it was good to see. For every new player we get over the learning hump the mire chance they will encourage friends to try it out.
This was the 2nd or 3rd this week of brand new players getting help from the community.
Without getting too sappy, kudos from the community to everyone who took time out of their game to help new players.
We have a long way to go, if its even possible to spark interest, to rebuild some numbers. But that attitude is a big help.

Edit: between MotA and ad vids there are about 2,600 views. If we get 1% they were well worth making. IF they do anything at all.
