Kinda thought that was weird too.  I would have blown that pipeline up day one.

I guess the idea was to allow the rest of the EU as much time as possible to find alternative sources before cutting off the spigot to cheap russian gas.  Maybe there was some secret compromise to get them to wait in return for military assistance.

Of course I always thought it was strange that the US was selling the Soviets $billions in wheat all through the Cold War in addition to targeting them with nuclear missiles and fighting them in several proxy wars.

Might be some devs just farting around, but they are Moscow based.  Not inconceivable they are making drone trainers for the Russian Military under contract.
