Please Remove kill count messages

It's horrible for a MMO game like this. Can we please bring some strategy back to the game? We've already got 3/4ths of the pilot's flying the easiest planes in the game, using multiple account shades, ect. I just hate how people already know whose who in the air  the minute they get a kill. Loses all fog of war, they already know how the fights gonna be, already know whether to set up a fight or not. We saw how its been abused. I just dont understand for life of me why this needs to be implemented in the game so the whole freaking arena knows when you get shot down or shoot someone down. Like what is the actual point for this? We already have Dot dar, how much more strategy can we take out of the game?

It's not really about that. I'd rather not tell the entire base or furball I'm diving on that's it me when I get a kill. If the player on their side wants to call me out, so be it, but I just think it's stupid to give away the player in the fight so that everyone can adjust their SA/ flying style while that player doesn't get any ability to see who they are fighting. And, I don't think that just because a player killed someone, that it should be blasted all over the arena for people to comment on. The whole incentive was to get atleast 2 kills to get your name in lights. Now it's every kill recognition without even landing... I think it just takes away another part of critical thinking to SA and combat when you know someone died across the map for example and then a player can make decisions on that. Or as soon as I know it's a specific player I know how to enter the fight against them. Perhaps a better thing if it just has to be so, is to add their name at the end of the landed × kills successfully. If everyone just has to know who he shot down...This would atleast not tarnish current SA of that player.

What about a 5 sec delay?
Toxic, psychotic, self-aggrandizing drama queens simply aren't worth me spending my time on.

In my yute I hated it, because I thought it encouraged score whoring.  I'm comfortable with it now for what Lazerr said.  After seeing "[anyman] shot down Oldman" multiple times, I see more and more enemas entering my quadrant.  Makes for fun fights.

I would vote for proximity dar be removed.  As well as larger icons for bombers..  I think I prefer the old dots for any type of AC.  I'd also throw a little larger delay on it.

I feel like it's should be the map showing the signs of life of where the action is. While you may want people to kill you, that's not really the objective of the game, just your own objective to an extent, but in general It takes away the advantage of anonymity in the fight while you don't get to know who the player is. To me, that is a an advantage for the other player and I'm not sure how that's particularly fair.

Can't tell me you guys don't see far fewer fake saultes because the information was already out there.

I see far more LOLs and comments from other players when they see a certain player died..  thats no beuno.

I think it was implementation without the ability for the "recently towered" to opt out being shown to the whole damn arena was a grave error. :old:

If it bothers too many.

I can see the reason its used, it feeds competition and reward. Especially when someone has been braggy to someone and trolling them,…then get killed by them. Lol

I bet the younger crowd likes seeing their name flashed in a kill.
It has purposes and it could become boring without them.

I see both points. OTOH, some need to stop worrying about what people think of them. Ya gitta have some thicker skin and self-deprecating for humor. If ya don’t try to be the greatest no ine wants to knock you down, its a gunfighter environment. Everyone wants to beat the best.

If anyone should be embarrassed its me lol. Come fly with me, I’ll make ya look awesome.

If I had a vote, I don’t, and there was a change I’d vote your direction.
