I won 5 numbers on the lotto in 82. Never played before, lotto was newish, thought the numbers had to be in same order as called, threw the ticket away. Later at work my boss told me (and I was an idiot, no defense there) I won 5 numbers, $65k, go home get ticket out iif the trash. Unfortunately I was 50 miles from home on garbage pickup day, ticket went bu-bye.

I was much better off not winning. Come-on a partying 22 yr old in rock biz with $65k to spend aimlessly? I would have put houses and boats up my nose and dead. Common house then was 30k.

I was an idiot for my own damn good. HA!

 The original post was observation on Bezos trophy babe.  He has already spent 30 Billon on her in his divorce. So, the question is still can money buy happiness? The post has drifted to winning the Lotto which I am still waiting for before further comments.
