I grew up around/on a farm, with chickens too. Also raised Black Angus, Pigs, work horses, Arabian and quarter horses, snd thats the short list.
No intent involved, but someone who has, can notice someone who hasn’t.
Veterinary care (for both the animal and your safety) when you’re talking 500k chickens just on one farm would cost a fortune to handle and diagnose every bird. Not only that but a lot of false positives as its just not detectable yet. Took covid 2 weeks before it could be detected, the entire farm has to be sanitized.Many viruses are like that. They have to start from egg all iver again from uninfected chickens. They had to be killed.
Would you eat a chicken out of a pen that had infections?
The people/scientist who were working on a veterinary solution were just fired. Now double the pain. Its reality.
