50/50 Not tonight
« on: March 07, 2025, 11:28:00 PM »
According to the write up it was supposed to be a 50/50 split no way in hell that was the case tonight!!!! Allies outnumbered the Axis Big Time we had 2 squads show up in force that usually do not come in with their number's /. For the remainder of the event if we Axis have to face this slaughter we should be able to reup our fighters to keep it an even game and not wait an hour to come back to defend and fight

i dont see why there cant be a 30 min mark with a different plane. we had i16s and stukas last time around, granted with the cannon package disabled, the i16s were absolutely no match at all for the stukas. it was over way too fast to be an FSO frame

I had a lot of fun in the second hour.  If there had been a 30 minute plane I would have had a lot more in the first hour.

its the write up it would be alot better is the Axis can re-up after Death 1 instead of waiting til hour 2 to come back and defend our base that we were tasked to defend. Plus it was no where near a 50/50 split which also hindered this event. like i said before my 2000 cents input

for whatever reason the axis didnt have the numbers to start. it was 2-1 at the beginning of the frame. we need to actively recruit for the FSO. even big squads, maybe recruit for the smaller ones. without it, you can all see where its going. get people involved. get friends involved. get kids involve. carry on!

Assignments dictate that is a a 50/50 balance (or close to it). Assignments have it as 36-48 vs. 33-47. That is an average of 42 vs. 40. Any setup will be bad when it is 28 vs. 55 in a designed 50/50 event. I am sorry it did not play well.

Regarding second hour and 30 minute planes, etc.; every designer is different. I, personally, prefer the tactical nature of FSO and not just a thematic MA. Therefore, I like the first 60 minutes to be a pure FSO. After that, it can get wild. Others like you to essentially have unlimited lives for 2 hours while others like a 30 or 45 minute mark. And honestly, if I truly had it my way there would be no second lives at all. But, you have to give the people what they want. I hope frames 2 and 3 are better.

I will add that this is why it is so important to update your preferences. According to commitment levels, the Allies should never exceed 48 and the Axis should never be less than 33, yet both occurred in Frame 1 to horrendous results. A long time ago, my own squadron was banned for a month for going over three times in a year. Times have changed, but please keep your numbers accurate.

It's not like this is a weekly occurrence. We are almost always pretty fairly split. You have to expect that every once in a while the stars will align and give us highly skewed numbers to one side. Not worried in the slightest about it. This wasn't a design flaw and should be expected from time to time. Other than the numbers in Frame 1 I think it's a great set up with a cool match up.

First off Perd

I am sorry about this Post in a way,,,,, I know way back then we had the numbers to somewhat counter act this type of situation and in today's game you guys do not have that Luxury ,,, but as a Designer and Admin , I know real life stuff happens oh Trust me it does and if your back up is not there then but we could also work things out with Squads coming back to agree to make the event more enjoyable and have a squad swap side to even things out to a point. I know I am probably  One of the Old Guard of Cm's that came back to the game and I had some Very Tough  teacher's ROC, WARLOC , Plissken and so on,,,It came to the Point if ya Don't lt now it now you will never know it, I treated my Time as a CM like the Fire/Medic Service Learn while ya Burn but when i had to work when i was an Admin or designer of an event,,, I always called people back when they had Questions about an event even when snapshots where a thing When 68Raptor and I ran them,  I just don't want to see a New Player call any Cm out who want's to enjoy the Game when it say a 50/50 split ya this past week was a FUBAR event and like i said like you I am used to 1 Death and Done for the Night but to keep FSO alive the CM team does what they have to!!!!!!
