There is nothing wrong with how the game gets played....
« on: April 24, 2025, 10:45:48 PM »
There is nothing wrong with how anyone plays this game at any hour of the day. The game does not stop. If a country decides to take every base their opponent can give away, that is their prerogative to do so. If a player decides to exploit a 3-story building, it is their prerogative to do so. If a player decides to fly off of the map to enemy strats, that is their prerogative to do so. If 19 players are in the MA and 15 of them are one side, that is their prerogative to do so.

The MA is static without the efforts of individuals who invest their time and money to keep it up and running. It is alive. It is organic.

Until Dale fundamentally changes the structure of the game, it is what it is. Enjoy it while it last. If your experience sucks, get good

I have to disagree a little bit there. The gameplay can be abused and it does infact affect players staying in the game. Sure sure, people's actions in the game make the game turn and keeps it non static, but it may not be right for game play overall, and it reduces overall players rather than build them. Does the 20 player morning hoard help the gameplay. No. But it makes the game appear to be alive from the outside. Pretending that actions don't run players off is why so many have been run off...

There is a reason I harp against too many good players flying Temps and super E planes. They run players off over time because they are boring to fight against. If I took this game super super seriously and only flew the Tempest every sortie. Do you think it would be fun for anyone I killed? I'd fly so high and fast and run from everything, it would be super lame for the arena but I'd be #1 every tour with a 20 k/d. Now imagine if every one flew them to compensate. It would be as boring as ever. And unfortunately that's where a lot of players are now and it just creates a boring fighting atmosphere for a lot of players. Who wants to fight Temps and 262s every sortie?

Gameplay does make a difference in #s. Maps make a difference. People should he cognizant about how their playing the game might effect #s. Even tho the game is bascially do anything you want, it does infact have consequences over the player #s in some way. You can either be someone who wants to create good engagements with other players, or you can be selfish and play the game that ruins it for other players. So far, most players just play the game selfishly, and thays why so many have left. Selfish players can have fun playing by themselves and that's what we see in the morning.

Looking forward to the new war Jaeger1 is setting up for Sunday!!

In the meantime in ma go auto assign and fly towards the largest red dar bar in your favorite lw ride and fly until you die and not feel guilty about it ..  :joystick:

The only thing I hope for when I log on is a large number of enemy aircraft in 1 area, regardless of the number of friendlies in the area, I’ll be flying head long into the Mob with my A8  :rock

You're right.  There's not much wrong with the game...it's something wrong with the players  :neener:

+1

When my mission is to move mud and I work against overwhelming odds and folks without the same insane drive to win as I do you bet I get frustrated. At the end of the day when the dust settles my love and appreciation always come back the next day. It's a true addiction and I have no shame to admit it. The game is what it is today. People want to win at whatever they do and there is a lot of freedom to reach that end regardless of the ethical standards to get there. I have really been practicing accepting where the game is today and how people chose to play. It's a fine place to be

The furthest I'm willing to go in regards to giving myself an "edge" is paying for a 2nd account to maximize my time investment. I use that account on the same country as my primary so no foul play. I dont have to cheat to win.
I stopped using that 2nd account for 2 reasons. 1 was to bring back a former player and the other to silently show the whiners that I heard their complaints.

That time ends in June when I move back to civilization. No more 140 ping on country wifi internet. No more shoot me down and not have to worry about that other set. This summer, FineTyme and GOAT will once again dominate the skies of Aces High  :x

I have to disagree on a tank in a three-story building.  That is very misbalanced game play.  The tank in the building can shot through the wall but a tank outside the building cannot shoot through the same wall.

Same with spotting a GV under a tree from a plane.  Three players I know of can see any GV hidden anywhere, anytime.

until Dale makes those changes to fix these kind of exploits or comes out and declares a witch hunt against those who do exploit these things it's fair game for those players who practice that kind of play.

I fly the D9 because of what others fly. Kinda dumb to take a soit1 up against temp, LAs and Niks. Ya can only adjust so much
