I guess I'm confused about the "shooting friends down" I for one like fighting with friends, they usually give you the best feedback on how to improve. Is there something taboo about shooting friends down?
Since I started to see some of our squad members on the enemy side, rather than looking at the situation as "not friendly", I found it is also fun talking in our squad channel ( also with other Rooks ). Therefore, for the good and fairness of the game, I will start using auto-assign....

So you're openly admitting to talking to players on the other side in a voice channel?! The audacity
I understand your concern, Banshee, but my integrity to fight fairly for the nation I'm in can assure you won't be compromised. Checkertails is a very honorable Squad (which I'm proud to be) who would never accept that dishonest behavior. I was a knight for years and now a rook for years and never shows that despicable betrayal to the game and the players. My only goal is to improve the game and give a nation with fewer numbers another fighter on their side.Banshee, I always have you in high standard and a good player. Hope this is just a misunderstanding on my side. Please don't take it the wrong way, but I just want to clarify my position on this and also, as I already explained in another post, still have concerns about shooting down a squad member... ZE
I am all for what you are doing, ZE. I wish several more would do the same.
You do? So why are you crying about ENY?Don't be ridiculous, I've had to shoot friends down, people from; TheFew, TopGun, LCA, KN, Freebirds, C-Hawks, TheGFC, and a whole host of unaligned squadron-less friends. They are penalised with good reason, gangbanging single cons with 10 people is the one of the fastest ways to cause someone to log off with crappy gameplay. The realistic solution is to equalise the numbers by switching sides and giving people a better chance of good gameplay via even odds.Preserving the game as it is today as a gangfest of ENY cry babies that are too daft to switch sides and engage in friendly competition isn't going to help the game survive. Rather than the mundane repetitive; horde base land repeat (that is the leading cause of AcesHigh burnout), start encouraging switching sides, engage each other in combat. Give yourselves some bloody gameplay. And if they cannot take being shot down and it breaks up a squad, the bond of friendship was never strong anyway.
