721st BG Betty

Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This G4M Betty was part of the second squadron of the 721st Bomb Group, based at Kanoya in Japan during the spring of 1945. This group operated Betties modified to carry the Ohka rocket-boosted suicide glide bomb against the US Navy during the battle for Okinawa. While the Ohka was fast, up to 620 mph in a dive, it had to be launched within 20 miles of its target. The slow vulnerable overloaded Betties were usually taken out by carrier fighters long before they could get close enough to drop. Several US destroyers and transport ships were sunk or damaged by Ohkas, but no capital ships.

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."
